Project Management
On my own wide ranging projects, and for companies big and small I’ve managed projects that ranged into the millions of dollars gross budgets. I’ve spent countless hours on job sites and can help you easily communicate with the contractor or sub on your job. I’m well experienced in spreadsheets, word processing and cost management softwares. I can bring a number of bidding and organizing templates to the table as well.
Materials Sourcing
Looking for a specific material for your project? I’m on it. Need some corrugated steel form work done? I can source that. Same goes for forged steel or laser cut aluminum. Woodworking is my specialty and there’s no boundary I wont push or explore. I’ve done custom veneer work on curved surfaces, solid wood construction, laminated, lacquered modern, traditional I’ve experienced or personally built it all. Edge lit etched glass? Done it. Need a 2 piece book matched dining table top in solid wood? Been there, done that. Gloss black lacquer casework? That too. Solid wood coopered elliptical cabinetry panels? Now it’s getting interesting. If you (or I ) can dream it, I can make it happen. When it comes to specialty materials I’ve probably found it before, and can find it again for you.
When the project calls for solid wood, I buy my materials as close to the source as possible and manage the milling or processing every step of the way. I’ve worked with several sawmills and milling companies that can take a raw log and process it into finished lumber based on the specs of your project.
I’ve built an extensive rolodex of sources for a wide range of materials and supplies over the years. It’s gotten so the hunt is half the fun for me. I love a challenge, or a combination that’s new and fresh.
